Short Bio

Creating has always been a part of my life. After retiring from a thirty five year career in the financial industry I took up floral design which led me back into art and onto sculpture. As a Dundas resident I began sculpting in clay classes at the Dundas Valley School of Art In 2016 with Janus. Our DVSA director suggested I continue private figure sculpting classes with Les Drydale also of Dundas. I also participate in the weekly Guelph Sculpture Group sessions mentored by Hanna Boos and the now late Beverly Cairns.

Biography

My education has been extended through various figurative sculpture groups and workshops such as Toronto’s Al Green Sculpture School and in the USA with Phillipe Faraut, Rick Casali, Leroy Transfield, Brian Booth-Craig, Kevin Chambers, Alicia Ponzio, Robert Bowden and Grzegorz Gwiazda.
